Wikstrom’s
understanding of the interrelationship between transportation, land use
and economic development led to the successful expansion of transportation
systems in communities throughout the western United States. Wikstrom’s
approach evaluates the critical link between transportation modes and
alignments and economic activity.
Wikstrom has led multidisciplinary teams in evaluating the feasibility
of expanding regional airports and has participated on large teams
evaluating major new transit systems and highways. Working for large-scale
developments, we have worked with transit and highway departments to
assure that long-range plans properly anticipate future land uses and
development.
